Work cover requires and we recommend the hirer enforce the following:
- The operator have a current c class drivers licence.
- The operator read and understand the safe work method statement prepared by the hirer. (Kenna Contract Hire can supply a swms document which we have prepared as a guide)
- The operator read and understand the operators manual supplied with every machine. (located in operators manual compartment behind seat)
- The operator complete the pre-start checklist book each day before using the machine. (located in the operators manual box behind the seat)
- The operator wear the following P.P.E. Hi-Vis vest, Steel toe cap boots, Hard hat, Long sleeves and long pants, Safety glasses, Hearing protection, dust mask.
- The operator dismount the machine whilst being loaded.
Kenna Contract Hire Can also supply risk assessments prepared for each machine upon request
